Peter Jankowski

CEO & Chairman

Prior to starting Next Level Security Systems, Peter Jankowski was the CTO of the Physical Security Business Unit at Cisco, focusing on digital video surveillance. Before joining Cisco, he was the CEO and CTO for SyPixx Networks where he was responsible for product design and direction of a suite of IP-based digital video products and solutions delivering broadcast quality digital video, audio and data to users over standard Ethernet/IP and fiber optic networks to the security, infrastructure and transportation markets. Cisco Systems acquired SyPixx in April of 2006.

Prior to SyPixx Networks, Jankowski was one of the founders of Loronix Information Systems in 1987. He pioneered the move into the digital video marketplace, with the introduction of Loronix’s Digital Video Management products in 1995. During Jankowski’s tenure, Loronix was acquired by Comverse Technology.  As CTO/Vice President Sales & Marketing at Loronix, he was responsible for the transition into the new company, which later became Verint Video Solutions. Jankowski has combined the disciplines of digital video, IP networking, embedded hardware and software expertise to develop systems with unique end-to-end digital video networking capability.

 

Jumbi Edulbehram

Vice President of Business Development

Jumbi currently serves as Vice President of Business Development for Next Level Security Systems, a physical security company focused on developing a new breed of networked security solutions.

Prior to joining Next Level, Jumbi was Director of Business Development at Axis Communications, where he was responsible for the technology partnership program, consultant (A&E) program, industry liaison program, and for developing new business in industry segments such as retail, government and transportation. He was also responsible for strategic new business initiatives such as the Axis’ Video Hosting System.

Prior to Axis, he was Vice President of Strategic Marketing and Business Development at IntelliVid, a provider of unique intelligent video analysis software for the retail market; IntelliVid was acquired by Tyco/ADT in 2008. Jumbi has also worked as a management consultant at BCG and as a chip design engineer at Intel Corp. Jumbi is passionate about providing integrated, intelligent networked solutions to the physical security market.

 

 

Rob Tucker

Vice President of Sales

Rob Tucker is Vice President of Sales for Next Level Security Systems. Tucker comes to Next Level with more than 10 years experience in bringing new technology to the forefront of the physical security world. His extensive experience ranges from playing a vital role in the introduction of the first ATM DVR to spearheading extensive sales efforts for a global security conglomerate.

 

Prior to joining Next Level, Tucker was part of the start-up team of Lanex, which introduced the first embedded DVR for the financial marketplace in 1996. As Vice President of Lanex, he was instrumental in leading the company after it was acquired by Verint Video Systems. Tucker assumed the role of Vice President of Sales at Verint when the company went public in 2002 and continued to lead sales efforts, eventually growing Verint into a leading provider of video management systems.

 

 

David Wedel

Regional Sales Director

David Wedel has more than 25 years of experience in the security industry as end user, specifier, integrator, and sales and marketing leader, and brings his broad expertise to his role as Regional Sales Director for Next Level Security Systems. He assumes responsibility for establishing Next Level’s sales processes enactment of the company’s go-to-market strategy through authorized distribution and channel partners.
 
Prior to joining Next Level, Wedel was most recently Executive Vice President, Director of Sales at Ionit Technologies. Previously he was Product Sales Specialist for physical security products at Cisco Systems, upon Cisco’s acquisition of SyPixx Networks in 2006 where he had served as Western Regional Sales and Marketing Manager. He has also held security sales leadership positions at Mosler, Diebold, Intelect Networks and GE Multilin.

 

 

Bill Jacobs

Vice President, Access Control

Bill Jacobs has more than 27 years of experience in security management and has the very unique qualification of having been a client, thus understanding security from an end-user's perspective. During the course of his career, he's worked in the capacity as an operations manager for a large systems integrator, as a security design consultant in his own practice, and as a security/risk manager for multiple high-tech companies. He recently served as the Director of Physical Security and Integrated Building Technologies for Cisco Systems for 15 years.
 
He is internationally recognized and has spoken at many leading industry conferences. Jacobs holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Control Systems and achieved CPP certification in 1990.
