NLSS External Storage

Product Overview

The NLSS External Storage is a 2-bay external RAID solution for enhanced redundancy. This compact storage solution has two hot swappable 3.5 hard drive trays. Its Direct Access Storage (DAS) interfaces to USB or eSATA port on the NLSS Gateway.

In addition to RAID 0 and RAID 1, the NLSS External Storage utilizes the latest Silicon Image 5744 chipset, supporting the newest SAFE33 and SAGE50 technology. SAFE33 and SAFE50 create two hard drive volumes where 1/3 or 1/2 of the hard drive volume is used for mirroring and the rest is used for spanning.
