Video Analytics
Includes a Range of Video Analytics |
The NLSS Gateway includes a range of video analytics that integrate directly with NLSS event-based intelligence. Analytics include:
| People Counting - Count people as they come into and out of your facility. People counts can be used for monitoring occupancy limits, counting customers, managing queues and detecting piggybacking/tailgating. |
| Entry and Exit Monitoring - Monitor entrances and exits to make sure that people move only in the desired direction. This is useful in facilities where entry is restricted and you want to make sure that people don’t enter from the exits. |
| Trip Wire - Set up a virtual boundary around areas where you want to restrict access and get an alert when an intruder crosses the boundary. It can also be set up to give an alert only when the incursion occurs in a particular direction. |
| Loitering - Measure the amount of time that a person or vehicle spends in a designated area. This is useful for detecting people loitering in an area, a vehicle stopped for longer than usual, or even the amount of time a customer spends in a particular part of a retail store. |
| Objects left behind/taken away - Get an alert if a moving object is suddenly stationary for a period of time – useful for detecting unattended baggage in airports. You can also find out instantly if protected objects like paintings and artifacts in a museum are taken or even moved. |
| Face detection - Instantly obtain a record of the faces of people in a video. In access control applications, the face of the person is stored along with the card record, which enables you to make sure that the person presenting the card is the one authorized to do so.
