The NLSS Gateway is the core of the NLSS Security Platform.  It combines essential elements of a physical security solution that were traditionally separate subsystems to provide seamless communication between these various physical security devices.  The NLSS Gateway supports multiple streams of digital video in various resolutions and formats, and supports access control panels and readers from one door to hundreds.

The NLSS Gateway can easily scale from a standalone unit to an enterprise-class system with key features such as auto discovery and auto provisioning of edge devices. Because our NLSS Gateways are connected to the network, you have complete secure access to your system from anywhere and at any time through a web browser. The NLSS Gateway also includes a wide range of video analytics such as people counting, entry and exit monitoring, trip wire, loitering, face detection and much more.

The NLSS Gateway operates on a 64-bit operating system and is available in four models to provide hundreds of gigaflops to teraflops of processing power.  You can even combine multiple NLSS Gateways for collaborative distributive processing.  They support many digital video formats including H.264, VC-, M-JPEG, MPEG-2, MPEG-4 for HD and SD video.  All of this is built into a small form factor with low power consumption and compact flash boot to make the NLSS Gateway a reliable and cost effective solution.

The NLSS MultiTouch Console is a unified security operations console for management of video, access, intrusion and audio. An intuitive user experience is delivered through its innovative touch-and-drag interface. The NLSS MultiTouch Console supports camera tours, pre-sets and spot monitors, and is designed using the latest human computer interaction technologies, making the unified system easy to learn, configure and use. It has the capability to integrate third-party keyboards and controllers.

The NLSS MultiTouch Console can control multiple NLSS HD Media Decoders for video wall applications.  It also supports VoIP interface to audio enabled IP cameras and encoders, as well as communications to other MultiTouch Consoles.  Lastly, the NLSS MultiTouch Console provides operators with a dedicated workstation that is restricted to only its operations so that operators cannot add games or unauthorized software to the systems.

NLSS HD Media Decoder

Unprecedented Picture Clarity - Smooth Video

The NLSS HD Media Decoder is the first completely open, full HD Media Decoder on the market for security applications. The NLSS HD Media Decoder provides a convenient way to display IP cameras and video encoders on to LCD, LED & Plasma monitors/televisions. These decoders can display up to four simultaneous streams of HD video and stereo audio in a number of pane layouts including 1, 1x2 (vertical), 2x1 (horizontal), 2x2.

The NLSS HD Media Decoders also support video display form a URL or stored file which is ideal for displaying digital signage, advertising or for viewing video from the internet.  NLSS HD Media Decoders can be networked to build a cost-effective video wall.

The NLSS Unified Security Software Suite provides integration with leading access control hardware vendors.  NLSS Gateways support HID Edge IP hardware which provide PoE (power over Ethernet) connection allowing a single CAT-5 cable to power and operate a proximity card reader and lockset.  NLSS Gateways also support ASSA ABLOY/Sargent wireless and PoE locksets to provide an easy all-in-one installation.  Lastly, NLSS Gateways provide traditional access control hardware support with a full line of panels, card readers and equipment.
